Place of Origin
Rosso Canosa DOP (Protected Designation of Origin) wine is produced in the territory of Canosa di Puglia with Nero di Troia grapes for a minimum percentage of 65%, and with other grapes grown in the same territory such as Montepulciano and Sangiovese, alone or together. Other types of grapes but for a maximum of 5% of the total can also be added.
Main grape varieties used to make Rosso Canosa DOP:
Canosa Rosso wine has a ruby red colour, with a pleasant aroma, dry and tannic to the right point, with a bitter aftertaste.
Rosso Canosa should be consumed at a temperature between 18 and 20 degrees.
Rosso Canosa pairs well with grilled meats, cheese and salami.
