Castel del Monte is a DOP (Protected Designation of Origin) wine produced in a wide area around the famous castle of Frederick II.
Castel del Monte Rosso is made with Nero di Troia grapes, typical of this area.
Castle del Monte Bianco is produced with Bombino Bianco, Pampanuto and Chardonnay grapes.
The Rosato version is made with Bombino Nero grapes.

Castel del Monte is produced in different types: Rosso, Rosato, Bianco, Bombino, Chardonnay, Sauvignon, Nero di Troia, Aglianico and Cabernet, the latter can be Frizzante and Riserva.
Castel del Monte Rosso is a wine with a pleasant bouquet and a harmonic flavour.
Castel del Monte Bianco has a delicate aroma and a fresh taste.
The Frizzante Bianco version, both Chardonnay and Sauvignon, have a delicate fruity bouquet, a harmonious taste and a fine foam.
Castel del Monte Rosso should be served at a temperature between 16 and 18 degrees.
Castel del Monte Bianco is served at a temperature between 8 and 10 degrees.
Castel del Monte Rosato has a serving temperature between 12 and 14 degrees.
