Garagano
The coast of the Gargano is jagged with natural arches that stand out of the water all along this rugged coasted bathed by the blue sea. The beautiful scenery of the localities of Manacore, to the south of Peschici and Testa del Gargano, to the north of Vieste, moving from Manfredonia in the south, is typical of the varied landscape of the Gargano coast.
Peschici
Perched on a huge, rocky promontory, Peschici is a well tourist attraction with its harboour, hotels camping sites and holiday villages. The beauty of the sea is enhanced by its little bays and its beautiful caves, such the cave of San Nicola and the cave and bay of Manacore.
Vieste
Vieste is one of the most important localities in the area of the Gargano. Its Pizzomunno beach is incredibly beautiful. Pugnochiuso bay is one of the most attractive in the area. Also there are caves to visit such as those of S. Nicola Del Saraceno, Lina, Salata and Caprezza, some of which can only be reached by sea.
Mattinata
Mattinata is a wide bay, with a long beach and a small port used for pleasure boats. It is a centre of an international tourism. A few kilometres to the north lie Mattinata Beach and the famous Zagare Bay.
