Santa Maria al Bagno

Santa Maria al Bagno is located along the Ionian coast of Salento in Puglia, near the town of Nardo'. The seaside town of Santa Maria al Bagno extends around the tower of the Fiume di Galatena, built in XVI century to defend the sources of fresh water. The coast is mainly rocky but low, allowing easy access to the sea. Santa Maria al Bagno is a place of great historical interest with the remains of tombs excavated in the rock located along the nearby coastline. Santa Maria al Bagno can be reached from the SP17 or the SP90 from the town of Galatone.

Santa Caterina

Santa Caterina is located along the west side coast of Salento in Puglia near the town of Nardo'. This is a seaside town with a small harbour and a rugged coast with only few small stretches of sand. In the Baia di Uluzzo there are several caves, including the Uluzzo and the Cavallo. Inside these caves were found significant traces of the Palaeolithic period. Santa Caterina can be reached from the SP286 that runs along the Ionian coast of Salento.

Porto Selvaggio

Porto Selvaggio

Porto Selvaggio and the nature reserve of 'Porto Selvaggio and Palude del Capitano' are located along the Ionian coast of Salento in Puglia, near the town of Nardo'. The coast of Porto Selvaggio is rocky, jagged and characterized by the widespread presence of pine forests and Mediterranean vegetation. Along the coast there are few towers such as Torre dell'Alto, Torre Uluzzo and Torre Inserraglio. This stretch of coast is home of a nature protected area called 'Parco Naturale Regionale di Porto Selvaggio e Palude del Capitano'. Porto Selvaggio can be reached from the SP286 that runs along this part of the Salento coast.

Sant'Isidoro

Sant'Isidoro is located along the Ionian coast of Salento near the towns of Nardo' and Copertino. It is a small coastal town named after a XVI tower located along the coast. It overlooks a small bay with a beach, about 1 km long, with waters particularly low and calm thanks to the protection of a small island located at the outside edge of the bay. Sant'Isidoro can be easily reached taking the SP114 both directly from the town of Copertino and from the main motorway SS359.

Torre Squillace

Torre Squillace is located along the Ionian coast of Salento, south of Porto Cesareo and near the town of Nardo'. It's a seaside area which takes its name from the square tower overlooking the coast. It is located next to a small bay with a strip of white sandy beach and some low cliffs. Torre Squillace can be reached following the SP286 that runs along the west coast of Salento.
