Torre Specchia Ruggeri

Torre Specchia Ruggeri is located just south of Le Cesine, in Salento near Melendugno e Vernole. It's a coastal village inhabited mostly during the summer months. The place takes its name from the tower built in 1568. The coast is formed by low cliffs, rich in Mediterranean vegetation, among which small sandy bays. Torre Specchia Ruggeri can be reached by taking the SP298 and then the SP366 that will take you directly to Torre Specchia.

San Foca

San Foca is located on the Adriatic coast of the Salento in Puglia, near Melendugno. It is a coastal town with a small coastline and a fishing village that comes alive especially during the summer. This coastline is formed by small sandy inlets found both in the north and in the south of the port of San Foca. San Foca is reachable by taking the PS145 from Melendugno.

Roca Vecchia

Roca Vecchia is located near the town of Melendugno on the Adriatic coast of Puglia. It takes its name from its tower located on the coast, is a beautiful coastal town already inhabited in ancient times. There are here, in fact, traces of the populations of the Bronze Age, as well as of later periods, from the Messapi to the Romans and to the Greeks. The coastline consists of small inlets with crystal clear waters. There are here two caves of extraordinary beauty called Grotte di Poesia. In the smaller one of the two were found inscriptions on the walls, especially from the Messapian period. These inscriptions revealed that the cave was once used as a place of worship of the god Taotor. Roca Vecchia can be reached by taking the SP297 from the town of Melendugno.

Torre dell'Orso

Torre dell'Orso is located along the Adriatic coast of Salento in Puglia, near the town of Melendugno. It is a beautiful beach of the length of about 800 meters with fine sand, clear sea and bordered by high cliffs. Along the cliff south of the beach there is an interesting cave, the Grotta di San Cristoforo, with some ancient graffiti, and off the coast two very similar stacks closed to each other, called 'Le due sorelle', the two sisters. Torre dell'orso can be reached by taking the SP297 from the town of Melendugno.
